Supporting innovations in transportation
Inventions like the electric car were created with the intention of improving cars to be more energy efficient. However, these inventions are still largely inaccessible to many American families who cannot afford the cost of a new vehicle.
While this foundation extends our supports to any company, group, or organization sharing our same goal of battling climate change through transportation, we are more focused on innovation that can lead to immediate solutions. While the long-term goal is important, there is no long-term to look forward to if we cannot wrestle the current and rising effects of climate change to a minimum.

Time for action
American leaders are finally poised to take action on climate. But new funding streams for adaptation must be accompanied by financial reforms that will ensure that these investments are equitable and are accessible to the areas that need them most.
At the Sarah Chen Foundation, we work on transportation because research shows that transportation is an area of focus that affects every individual within America. We are optimistic that the world can overcome the perilous climate threats of today and put sustainable development back on track.
